Hi I'm Shannon!

I founded Inspiro out of a heart for career growth and my individual life purpose (my why) which is, "To joyfully serve and inspire others so that impossible dreams are realized".

With my why, my 10 years in hospitality and more recent years in Learning and Development for Hospitality, I knew that I wanted to start something that would empower people to discover and live out their purpose while building a successful hospitality career.

I've sat with so many professionals in one-to-ones and learnt that many of us in hospitality want to grow and be successful, but there are those of us that have a real passion for what we do beyond just career success. I want to work with those hoteliers and empower them because I believe they can change the world, they just need direction, support, a good network, the tools and inspired leadership. What I have also learned is that finding something that you love, you are good at, and you can have a career in while serving your personal aspirations is not easy, especially in the demanding life of hospitality. BUT the good news is, it's not impossible.

I have trained hundreds of team members at this point for one of the biggest hotel companies in the world. I've worked in and managed operations, pivoted my career in a new direction, and started over twice. I've delivered training on passion and purpose for hospitality, shared pathways to develop skills and helped people navigate their careers towards success, ultimately supporting them as they grew in this industry. Believe me, I know it can be confusing to figure what you want, how to grow, how to stand out, how to change direction, how to lead, and how to navigate a career in an industry as broad as this, but I have spent a lot of time figuring that out, so you don't have to. I'm here to help you have the career you love and serve the things you're passionate about.

I wish I had the space and time to share with you all the things I have learnt, things I know now that would have accelerated my career then and honestly, it would have allowed me less strain over years. But this is why I am here. After 6 years of ups and downs, I landed where I needed to, and it clicked. My career then spiked, and I experienced exponential growth in 4 years... I did the hard learning, so you don't have to.
